Square and forecourt of Masaryk train station, Prague 1

From the station, through the square, to the gateway of the city. This motto inspired the design of one of Prague's most significant spaces. The area in question includes the forecourt of Masaryk Railway Station and the adjacent new building by Zaha Hadid Architects.

The new public space is designed with a focus on simple composition. The square offers easy permeability, multifunctional use for various social events, and tranquil relaxation under mature trees. The design of the new metro entrances reflects the identity of Prague’s updated urban furniture, reinforcing the integrity of the space.
