Family house, Hlubočepy
The design of a family house in Hlubočepy, near Prague, draws inspiration from the surrounding limestone cliffs, formed by the layering of ancient seabeds. Just as natural processes created these layers, the house represents a new layer integrated into the remnants of the original structure, creating a captivating dialogue between history and modern architecture. The design incorporates semi-open spaces that naturally connect the interior with the exterior.
The house is two-story, with a restrained and understated architectural expression to harmoniously blend with the surrounding neighborhood. This is achieved by dividing the structure into smaller, interconnected volumes. The design emphasizes high-quality interior layouts and reflects current trends in modern living.
