Reconstruction of an apartment, Vinohrady, Prague 3
The redesign of this First Republic-era apartment blends historical character with modern elements. It preserves the original atmosphere by restoring historical furniture and salvaging the original parquet flooring. At the same time, it introduces a contemporary layer with built-in furniture that combines modern design with details inspired by the historic pieces of the apartment's previous owner.
The interior draws inspiration from the period when the apartment was built, reflected in the choice of materials such as terrazzo, oak, and brass. A contrasting element is introduced through royal blue, featured prominently in each room as a visual focal point. This approach bridges the old and the new, giving the interior a harmonious and cohesive character.
